Ok, so I'm really bad at blogging, and Stephen is really bad at blogging, so... the blog doesn't get updated much (ever?). Oops? Anyways, not a whole lot happened with wedding stuff for a while, but I do have some things I can post about so I'll try to get to that ASAP! Later, gator!

Silver Lining

So I got some not so great news on Friday... It turns out it was no longer profitable for my bosses to keep my office open so I lost my job. It's definitely unsettling to be unemployed again but I'm not too upset because that means I get to move back to Waco even sooner! I'm looking forward to that, the job search not so much... Another plus is that my Aunt Becky and my mom invited me to go to Brussels with them at the beginning of December. I'm not sure if I'll go or not, but I better decide soon if I'm going to have time to get my passport!

RIP Deanna and Jesse

Ok - so no one is dead, but I was very sad to see this morning that Deanna and Jesse broke up. For those of you that don't know - they are the couple engaged on the last season of "The Bachelorette." For this reason, it makes me feel lame that I feel like I've lost something with this break up, but what can you do... I got hooked on The Bachelor when I didn't have cable and I can't go back to a world before the ultimate speed date.
Anyways, the point I'm trying to make here is that I'm so glad that what I have with Stephen is the real thing and I know it is going to last! I've found such a great friend and companion in him that this Bachelorette "crisis" doesn't shake me a bit (even if it was all just fake TV romance, I was gullible enough to believe it would work out...) In fact it just makes me even more excited about what is to come!!! =)

"Shades of Purple"

Happy Election Day! I've updated the color scheme to reflect our most recent wedding color decisions. Every time I tell someone about it they say "lavender" but I prefer "shades of purple."
